If you are coming in for a Work Permit medical examination, a little preparation makes the visit quick and smooth. Here is exactly what to bring and what happens on the day.

What to bring

  • Your passport (original, not a photocopy)
  • Your Work Permit card, or the In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter if you are a new applicant
  • The medical examination form from MOM or your employer. If you do not have it, let our staff know and we can print it for you.

If you are an employer or agency sending several workers, you do not need to bring anything extra. Just let us know how many workers are coming so we can plan the slots.

What happens during the check-up

The whole examination is done in our clinic, under one roof:

  1. Registration at the front counter
  2. Doctor consultation and a physical examination
  3. Blood tests required by MOM
  4. Chest X-ray for tuberculosis screening, done on-site

There is no second trip to a separate X-ray centre. Most visits take 20 to 40 minutes.

When will the results be ready?

Results and the signed MOM form are ready the same day. We will contact you or your employer the moment they are ready, so the worker can start work without delay.

Have a question before you come?

You are welcome to walk in during opening hours, or message us first if you are unsure about anything. See the full details on our Work Permit medical check-up page, or contact us and a real person will reply.
